ABOUT ABOUT

Join MoKan NAMA for lunch and a panel discussion with the National Bio and Agro-defense Facility (NBAF).

NBAF is the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's foremost animal disease research facility and it's moving to Kansas State University's Manhattan campus, placing it within the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor.

It will be a state-of-the-art, biocontainment laboratory for the study of diseases that threaten both America’s animal agricultural industry and public health. NBAF will strengthen our nation’s ability to conduct research, develop vaccines, diagnose emerging diseases, and train veterinarians.
